about_us.html Mountain Lights and Luxuries had its genesis in 2005 with a love of candles and a desire to express an often overlooked creative side. I began the journey into researching just what it means to handcraft a quality candle. Over the course of two years, countless hours of testing and tweaking were spent in search of a special candle that I was proud to call my own. Mountain Lights and Luxuries was ready to go live and share the fruits of our labors with other candle lovers. Our candles are created with a base of 75% pure soy wax and 25% paraffin blend. This custom parasoy blend incorporates the beautiful and creamy nature of soy wax along with the excellent scent throw and smooth finish characteristic of paraffin wax. Our fragrance oils are formulated specifically for use in candles and tested to ensure that they smell simply wonderful throughout the life of your candle. Try them and experience a better smelling and longer lasting candle than what you'll find on store shelves.

In early 2007, another addiction, or might I say passion, was born. The world of homemade and handcrafted bath and body products was calling and I accepted the challenge. Today, small batches of fresh, high quality lotions, bath salts and lip balms are created for the discriminating, careful consumer who is looking for products with the minimal amount of manufactured ingredients and the maximum amount of natural, beneficial goodness. All of our scented products use fragrances that are skin safe and oh-so yum-O! Our growing line of bath and body products also includes a luxurious shower gel, foaming baby shampoo and coming soon are a creamy sugar scrub and some cute and fun bath confetti packets!

Mountain Lights and Luxuries was created and is maintained as a small, family owned business committed to the continued tradition of crafting in America.
